yes would be nice if i could get gooseberries from them but unfortunately not I do have a gooseberry bush that is pretty much ready to crop at the moment though. Its weighted right down with dark gooseberries. My first batch. Last year I think the bush was attacked by saw fly or something...

I thought honeysuckle too. I'm pretty sure it isn't vinca. Obviously it has a good root run so the chances are it will pop up somewhere else, maybe in the border where you could let one flower and satisfy our curiosity!

I'm glad we've got it sorted between us all Victoria but Stephen gets the feather in his his cap I think. You're right about the double ones, they are pretty. The problem with going on an internet search is there are too many nice plants, I want's, to be seen.
