    I thought honeysuckle too. I'm pretty sure it isn't vinca. Obviously it has a good root run so the chances are it will pop up somewhere else, maybe in the border where you could let one flower and...

    I spent my early years playing in a huge garden that had 180ft of hedging across the front garden, my dad had to cut that with hand shears. Perish the thought!

    Yes and a real seed weed too, is Knautia. Trouble is you do not always get as good a colour as that from seed. If it is a small plant then it can be dug up and moved reasonably easily. Cut it down...
