    Yes certainly does look like a Japanese honeysuckle as you say, I found this pic & it shows that not all the leaves are always that shape..

    I have a self seeded one too, but I keep it quite small.. I would get it out of there jjordie before it roots get hold.. Plant it elsewhere in your garden if you like.. Beautiful on our drear days..

    I don't think Pittosporum Purpureum changes colour much. Loropetallum is more spreading, at least mine is. It could be Letpospermum but is too distant for a positive ID
