    Brilliant yellow flower - is it a weed?

    I have a self seeded one too, but I keep it quite small.. I would get it out of there jjordie before it roots get hold.. Plant it elsewhere in your garden if you like.. Beautiful on our drear days..

    This may help. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinca_minor V. major the leaves are larger and wider than V. minor... V. major has hairy leaf edges.

    not sure what this is

    I don't think Pittosporum Purpureum changes colour much. Loropetallum is more spreading, at least mine is. It could be Letpospermum but is too distant for a positive ID

    Help unidentified weed!

    Just wanted to revise this thread to say they ARE invasive, they are popping up bleeding everywhere! barely saw any last year - weird, though we only bought the house in June so previous owners...

    Aha! It's a Portugeuse Laurel! :ideaIPB: The red tinges to the Leaf stalks give it away- couldn't see them in the previous photos. It should grow for you, I'd give it plenty of water as it was pot bound...
