    Not Bougainvillea...

    Not a plant I know much about strongy. But its survived the last two winters with a bit of protection.Never grown Puyas, but I think the flowers are probably a lot more interesting.

    I would agree with you Simbad. Whilst it doesn't flower for that long, you can leave the flower stalks on as added interest for a long period.
