The only comment I would make is that the Yucca looks like Golden Sword or similar which is one of the stiff leaved Yuccas and therefore the leaves will have a very very sharp point and sides like razors, just beware when working around it, I speak from painful experience of working with them.:(:D

Hello Harpp and welcome to GC. I definitely agree with Pete ... I always have it as it's so gorgeous . I prefer the double blooms but it MUST have sunshine and warmth. It sometimes re-seeds here but not always so an annual in general.Enjoy the forum.

Ooh no don't worry about cutting it back after it has finished flowering.. You can give it a bit of shape for next year that way & if you do the same after flowering next year it will be a nice thick plant.. They can be cut back quite hard so don't worry.. They can look a bit tatty in winter,...
