    Unknown fruit

    I have a young P cerasifera 'Pissardi' which bore very little fruit this year ... and the birds ate that! :( It is truly a lovely tree.

    Nice plant but what is it.

    They grow incredibly easy from seed - and the seed pods are very easy to spot on the plant as the flowers die.

    It is ok in 40+c as long as it is watered frequently and not allowed to dry out at least not in summer. It would be better of in the ground as it will need repotting later and will gradually...
