    That is bindweed, if it is just a small patch you could try digging it out very carefully - the roots go down a long way - they are thick and white so easy to find in the soil, just don't leave...

    It needs a sunny well drained site.. and as we've mentioned , it can cause an allergic reaction... so not somewhere people can brush past it. It grows to about 2 ft at most!

    I would be inclined to say the second one is foxglove too, possibly verbascum though. I like deadnettles too, and things are only a weed if you don't want them.

    It's the same Angelica that is candied and used in baking. With plenty of room to grow, they can reach 2 metres tall and similar is width. I dug one out this winter as it was swamping...
