Hybrid of Anemone hupehensis. I don't think it's a shrub, but a perennial plant (herbaceous), which means it will die down in winter, and pop up again in spring.

Do the poor thing a favour: carefully dig some compost in the ground, give it a good dousing of iron chelate, and pine bark mulch. Don't prune for the moment,see what it does

I stick to chanterelle, puffballs and ceps. They are very distinctive.
