That was taken last year spot. This year it was not as prolific, think it had a lot to do with the weather to be honest.

I see I was right about the Mallow - nice to have an exact ID now! Just to add to the notes on the page quoted - they do seed very easily in the growing position; in fact, in my experience they self-seed quite prolifically given half a chance!Anthony

my neighbour has a cherry tree and the cherry stones seem to take root pretty quick, specially after they have been thru the birds. The cherries look edible to me though I've never had a chance to try them, the birds get there first. I have potted a couple on, just for the fun of it and am...

We used to have some in our last garden and it provides some lovely colour and it's easy to control it's spread as well :thumb:

That is one of the Eryngiums, probably agavifolium.We have it as a lawn weed.

If you dont like them, they are weeds, if you do, they are plants. Deciede yourself if you want them or not.
