    Thanks everyone. It's a pretty little gem with a lovely leaf that might do well in a hanging basket or gravel garden but I think you would need to keep an eye on it.

    Thanks Liz, That certainly does look like the one I have. The labeling on the photo implies that it is a mutant - does anyone know what this means in plant terms, and whether or not it is likely...

    Thanks palustris, I never thought of root cuttings. Jazid I find the wood needs to get full sun to ripen, otherwise its almost herbacous and takes a long time to recover the following spring.

    Deeper pink thats all. It does not set seed (most double flowers are sterile), it spreads by roots.
