Thanks I'll be looking out for some spores on the plant I have although not sure what to sow them on. I did once see Begonia rex being grown on a house brick. The idea is you use a soft type of brick and stand the brick in water, the plant then just uses the moisture the brick draws up.

Once you grow it you never get rid of it. Quite a few plants like that. I had California poppies naturalised in my garden for a number of years then one cold winter wiped them all out. Can't seem to get them going again, something must have changed, probably too much shade now days.
