Adenium? I planted some last week. I planted 5 two years ago and they germinated quickly, actually had teeny trunks from the word go. Sadly I couldn't look after them and they died so I am hopeful for the new ones ... but I will keep them contained and keep them mall and shrubby! Like these...

Female trees produce cones over here but rarely get pollinated and the seed is not fertile. My local cemetery has a good one, sheds lots of seed but I've never managed to germinate one.Its very unusual to see one around here with live branches almost to the ground.
