I have also inherited a wildlife garden. so far I have Galanthus nivialis and Tussilago farfara (Colts Foot) the latter latin to english translation is Cough go away. The roots are used to cure coughs and was used by the Romans and subsequent folk. The flowers always appear before the leaves.

This is one of my Crocuses in my new home's front Lawn. The photograph has been sold for a front cover of a Bulb catalogue.

My overiding memory of Rochester was seeing the results of a lorry losing its load of huge newsprint rolls of paper coming off a lorry at the top of a hill. These rolls did huge amounts of damaged and took out several cars etc: on the way down. Also a monster speam whale on the long low loader....

That is wonderful willow and I hope you get the recognition you deserve. I have a lilac Verbena which for the past two years has sent out white 'sports' I've been told they are called. Maybe I should do something also ..... Please keep us post and good luck .... :gnthb:
