The second picture was taken a week ago. Scotland is about a month to six weeks behind the south of England.

We have a couple in full bloom. The rest are just starting to bloom now. Shows the difference south to north.

It is at that awkward stage at the moment. The Tulips and Daffodils are past and their leaves just make things look untidy. The Alliums are starting to flower but not a lot else is doing anything.

That is lovely, quite formal ... but you sure have a lot of trimming/shaping work to do there.
