No If I remember right they were taken last year, with a view to painting them, but I've never got round to it, and sadly I haven't seen any ringlets and only abut one toirtoiseshell this year, and no peacocks, What is happening to our world?

I was in York this morning and saw a car with about 2" snow on it. Only the one. which I thought a bit strange.

One minute it was light the next dark. Makes for a different photo though.

This year, with having had that sharp frost a few weeks back, the colour of the leaves is really beautiful.

Lovely photos Roux... I love the way Autumn can give lovely crisp bright days, but with the sun being so low in the sky, long shadows and a sort of melancholy.I'd love a walk in those woods.Kath

Some really good shots there O2 - I particularly enjoyed the black silhouetted tree trunks and the still reflections.The Holly and Berries would be a good pic to use if you fancy making your own Christmas cards - a nice celebration of nature!

Bob welcome aboard,if you go on the seed swap thread LMRR has some brug seeds if she has run out let me know,you can overwinter them by putting them into hibernation just keep them frost free,I left some in the ground outside last year with cover 75% made it,most the info is on the brug thread...
