Love the cows and the old stone bridge Paul.I always imagined it to be difficult to access this shoreline with the motorways etc.... That bridge is spectacular when the sun shines on the suspension cables.Did you see any waterfowl/ waders etc?

Lovely blue bells, I just love the smell of them,spent the weekend at youngest daughters East Sussex they two have a lot of blue bells but...all you can smell there is wild garlic ! did pinch some tho, I think you use the leaves any way planted it will now wait and see.

Thank you Palustris for giving us a tour around your wonderful 'parkland' ... I won't say garden because that demeans it . I so envy some of the plants you can grow that I cannot even contemplate here. It must take every minute of your time to keep it looking as it does. Again, thank you.

My favourite plants are those that come up each year without any fuss and particularly climbing plants. These are in flower now in my 'back yard'This is one that I bought as a spindly little item from a posh garden centre some years ago. We had to nurture it for the first few years but...

LOL!! it's the OH, and it's his jacket not his shirt. I suppose we're lucky really, as the park is literally across the road. We walk the circumference,and it takes us about 3/4 of Hour,so it's quite a fair size. A great place to see the seasons change also.:D 02

I think the idea is that the more pics the better, but we do need to know that the naming is right and acurate. The same plant taken at a different time of the year can be good, along with the plant in flower, bud or just leaf, it all goes to giving a good idea of what a particular plant looks...

a very beautiful plant, 2 years ago i bought a couple of parrot plants on e-bay, discovered that they are part of the busy lizzie family. the plants i had were smaller flowers but they do look like parrots, and they were of course a great talking point.

hi cookie, i guess they probably do go to the TT never thought to ask them, dont think i could ride a bike tried one on a holiday once and i didnt even get a yard ha! ha!, had to get off and let hubby take over. it was nice though to sit on that fab bike, will stick to cars he he he

Thank you kandy I just use a small piece of Hose pipe cut in half Horizontally and put my thumb over the end,I havent seen my Foxy friends for about 6 weekes now I am getting quite concerned .

Everything looks better with a covering of snow.
