I think if you chop yours back and cover it, it will survive the winter and come back next year ... I have no compunctions (spelling?) that mine will come back with a vengeance! :D

I grow a fair number of less common small, summer flowering bulbs. This is Albuca humilis. and a close up I also have A. shawii, but I gave the only one in flower to Geoff.

Two more of the ivy leaf ones, a little the worse for rain.

Here is my Wild Orchid, a couple or three years since I rescued it from certain death.And a yellow thing, looking very good just now.
