I sure did see Rodney Kandy! My friend tried to stroke him and was pecked for his troubles. There was also a woman who walked past Rodney with this great big hat and the Macaw went for her. I was in fits! Sorry you couldn't see the bluebell meadow Kandy. The lady that I went with is wheelchair...

The little tree was dead in the end, which is a shame. On that side of the garden, it is very wet and I guess the roots rotted. Hence I have planted a fur tree in a nice pot and placed it there instead!GP :D

Pete and Kryssy, the very first prototype was tested at the Fleet and then modified ones of varying shapes and sizes were tested at the Fleet, Reculver and Loch Striven, so all three were used.

hi sarah 999 its a passion flower on the trellis , did have a clematis but it started to go a brown colour so chopped it right back and moved it , its started to grow again , am watching it now :D

Hi Kedi-Gato, sorry this reply is so late,I`ve just trolled through and found your post.The begonias seem to do well every year with just a feed of regular miracle grow.The acer was given to her by her daughter as she was moving to Spain and didn`t think it would survive in the extreme heat...

Using the swing was an inspirational idea! I have also planted red and white Roses against my arch and even though they are still only small the effect is very good.

Thanks Bob, so we now have Dianthus, Dahlias and Clematis, we have a few Fuschias so I'll drag the camera round them as they are coming out and start that. Wish my uncle was still around, he could talk Fuschias all day and night. My Gladioli are not showing any buds yet. Chrysanthemums still...
