I have about 10 different Clematis planted along the edge of my fence that have been there for about 3/4 years.Every year the "Henry" & "Nelly Moser" get Clematis Wilt, they have both grown to 4-5'this year but I noticed yesterday that they have wilt.Do you think I should dig them up and...

No, but I couldn't just leave it there and to find a vessel to hold it was a challenge still it did take a nice picture, I have always taken pictures in my garden of interesting things I once got a lovely piccy of a toad looking me right in the eye but when I crashed my Computer lost it..shame...

Hi Palustris, Thanks for the info, I have had mine in a pot since March as it was bought for my birthday and I have not planted it yet as I wanted to get the "right spot".I noticed that it had two buds on it but one seems to have gone brown, do you think it's because it's still in the pot?...

Slug free so far with the aid of copper tape round the pot, alpine grit in the pot and aluminium sulphate sprinkled on the grit- works as long as nothing overhangs them so slugs can climb across. Fluffy cat is my little fluffy dog Bud- for cat see latest posting in non gardening! The red plant...
