Needs to grow bigger, needs more room. Then it will start to flower well. When you buy them in flower, it seems to me that they have been treated with a growth hormone, similar to Chrysanthumums in pots, which makes them flower while still small. I could be wrong.

I am currently trying to do my blanc garden. With stone flags nr the backdoor for about 6ft then a new lawn to be put down for the other garden with raised beds filled with a mixed hedge at the top and shrubs in the other 3 beds. Any tips for me on laying new turf in 14sq metres.

Pea gravel isn't such as good idea because it's round it never really settles and it's always moving about under your feet.Bark chippings will rot but you could use them while saving upfor stone,it's much cheaper if you buy it by the half ton from a builders merchant than it is in bags from the...

I lost all my daffodil flowers in my rough grass after a 'helpful friend' mowed the grass for me and mowed all the daffodil leaves as well. You have to put up with the brown and dying leaves to put the goodness back in the soil, or so I'm told. Mowing is an instant killer.

Hi Poppy, I would suggest you don't seed it until there is a bit of heat in the ground, around about April or May time. Hope it works for you.
