Might be worth posting a photo of the plants you have actually received as all the RR we have seen are always quiet upwardly bushy.Could be that they are weaken and flagging due to lack of water etc or poor roots.Have they perked up a little now the cooler weather is on us, if its reached...

Well it's not a tree I have ever grown. Unless someone else comes along I can only suggest you Google leaf spot on amelanchier and have a read.Don't think there are any fungicides available these days that are likely to work, but I'm only guessing.

What Mike says. In this kind of weather though while they're getting their roots in, expect to give them a full watering can between the 3 of them, every couple of evenings.

Well you've obviously made your mind up but .... I've never seen a good looking artificial tree. At my last office they spent an awful amount of money replacing natural looking shaped holly trees with artificial which looked bleak and dreadful. They look too uniform and exactly the same all year...

Hi Caroline. Thanks for the tip. I tried it first thing this morning, (I'm an early riser lol!!). In bleach, the indicator needle went off the scale, as you would expect. In vinegar??? The needle dropped slightly from it's resting place (8) to 7. Tried it 3 or 4 times, and it wouldn't drop below...

I hadn't thought about that I have a rotary mower but I always cover my grass seed with a thin layer of soil so I can mow over it and keep the birds away.

It wont be in compost that you bought but could possibly be in the pots of any plants you bought.
