    Help with bushes!

    I think loofah/shiney's idea of:solves the problem, it's not easy to climb on as it springy and would not take any weight. Also it's tough as old boots and fast growing.

    weeds and moss on block paving.

    I use boiling water every now and then and that works a treat you can also put salt in the cracks but that does wash out

    Straggly lavender seedlings...

    They look healthy enough but probably want more light, or did at some point. I think I'd try pinching out to make them bushy, but nothing too drastic, just the tips.

    They look pretty leggy to me. It does look very shaded where they are so that may explain the lack of leaves on them. Do they get any direct sunlight in the day at all?

    Yes, if you are lucky. We have never managed to keep the original plant over winter, but cuttings do survive quite easily, in the same way as Pelargoniums do.
