I think for many people growing their own food is already necessary. It's only a matter of time before the government comes up with some sort of cabbage and tomato tax for anybody who dares go down this road

Yes, I don't have any trouble with the MR16's and they seem to last for ages. The small amount of heat from the bulbs and transformers are vented into the loft - I have holes drilled in the flooring above them (we live in a bungalow).
