    I use these jars for 'bottling' because they can be stacked on top of one another completely immersed in a pasteurising boiler and the clips removed before storing, so if anything untoward happens...

    AUTUMNWATCH 2013.

    We camped right by the RSPB reserve last year in Silverdale . We didn't have time to visit the reserve, hopefully next year. Its a lovely corner of the country from Carnforth over to the bays...

    Rooting gel versus powder.

    I have more success with powder.......my theory is that with the damp compost and the wet cutting(gell) ,they seem to rot more readily. Although successful cuttings are not my forte.........
