That's devastating news. What an awful tragedy. I wish I had some wise words right now but I'm stuck. Nothing will ease the pain that the lads parents now have to endure, but I hope it helps in some small way that so many people are genuinely giving their sympathy.

To someone who never progressed beyond 'stick men' and a round thing with spikes coming out of it (bit like this !) for the sun - I am always in awe of anyone who can draw or paint.

I guess I live not that far from Pete. My lawns haven't seen any rain since ..... I can't remember when, to the extent that they now 'crunch' underfoot - there's nothing to mow (which is a bonus!), but there are now weeds where there weren't before and, of course, they're romping away!

You're right Armandii, I certainly have the desire to go, but at the moment my emotions are to erratic. I need time to settle and contemplate. Then perhaps I may go for that fear of flying course later in the year. If not I'll have to have words with the 'A' team.
