Good stuff Pro. You'll also be able to trim the bottoms of doors without taking them off and a host of other fiddly things that would otherwise take ages. And just wait till you get onto the tiling....

Great stories, as has been said it would be great to have all these in a book. Combined with all you other jobbing gardeners etc it would make a great read - funny but sad and with some great historical entries. I'll buy it! cheers

Looks good, Pro. I've always preferred carbon steel for any tool that is subject to levering or needs sharpening. Stainless steel may shed the mud easier but it just doesn't seem as strong.
