I am the same, the tips in Morrisons have been £16 per kilo. Yet, today in Aldi, British asparagus tips were 59p per 100g today.

Oh, things have moved way beyond that stage in the intervening years... to the point that the police were out (again) at his door today. I dream of the day we can move away from here as they have ruined a home that we were really happy in.

We live about 2 miles from our local sorting/delivery office so aren't rural or anything like it. Our postal service is unreliable at best.

When I walked around Mont Blanc in around 2008, with a group, it was perfectly easy to see how much the glaciers had retreated over the years. No need to revisit 15 years later.
