Hi Pro, it cost me £21. So the normal price would have been £42 as wrinklies get 50% discount. The council now sub out the work to a large company but I still had the same man come round that used to come when he worked for the council :thumb: . They do our area on Tuesdays and Thursdays...

Well I think that it is a lovely story, my sister lives up in Crathie ( she's the posh one lol ) and she had a sheep living in her home til it died. I sadly am as houseproud as I am garden proud so it just would be a none starter for me I am afraid. Jane x

hmmm, I hope you do contact the council Nut. Like to know if you get a sensible answer from them. I didn't realise that about the bobbly bits either. I, too, thought it was to indicate to vip's where the payment ended and the road was beginning. I recently tried to look at my councils...

when i lived in Ryde all the streets have very similar names or it's in fact one long street which probably should of been made into two but you would get so far and you would find number 11A and then 11B and finally you would get an 11C lol we learnt to get to know the people at these house...

hi, does anyone know why when you buy a bunch of mixed cut flowers the ones like Gerbera and others with downy soft stems droop within a couple of days but the others dont?twice iv bought a mixed bunch and twice the gerbera type ones have drooped.Any ideas lol.

Thanks for that Kath. Yea, I always use a good quality wooden board, in fact the rest of the household know not to use it...or my knives as well. They throw everything in the dishwasher and that is the last place I want my knives to be in. I paid a hefty price for them, so no tom dick or harry...
