I'm not sure that happens anymore, but I agree, lots of things in those days actually crossed the generation gap, Doddy being one of them.

I've been pondering getting a new tablet. Usually I have a healthy dislike of Apple products and use google and android devices but the new ipad has consistently great reviews AND is (unbelievably) much cheaper than the Google equivalent.Has anyone got an ipad but makes use of the google apps...

I agree about the great importance of Wills and Power of Attorney (we had a recent thread about that). If anyone can't afford the cost of a Will then each year in November there's a charity set up called Will Aid. A lot of solicitors are involved in the scheme. They do the will free of charge...

Well, went shopping yesturday, and some shelves M T, bread shelves the worst and being that some of the bakers are only 10 miles away and we only had badish roads for one day !!!!!!!!!!!!!! they still couldn't get there with 3 days of clear roads But there was lots of bananas and pineapples...

We had a few new houses build near here, only ten right by the school and they can't sell them, out of 10, 4 are lived in, built 5 years ago
