I set my camera to restrict the size of my photos to 1.5 MB. These drag and drop with no trouble at all. As I have no intention of making large prints of the pictures there's no need to have the photos in a bigger format.

Indeed they can. I did one plant awhile back and got another four! look for little complete baby plants when you divide and pot up. Think I used a good compost / Vermiculite mix.

It's Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' (Zebra Grass). It grows to about 2 meters high.
