I have neither of those two NR on my canon, so settle for short 30 sec exposure and combining either in dedicated astro software or simply in photoshop...and I also use a black frame too.I was looking into another tutorial the other day and it was talking about averaged blacks and flats...

Some great feedback from you folks along with some great links, I have noticed the lens has an image stabiliser facility. The added bonus with this camera is that I have a 70-210 lens from an old 135 which is compatible.

Good morning Dave yes they have taken some of the actions from Photoshop CS and put them with elements 9,and I think that it is easier to use ,and I like the interface ,as you can see I,m burning the midnight oil,(new toy syndrome):hehe:
