I drive past Plantworld every day and currently there's a double 'hedge' of Echiums in full flower along Ray Brown's roadside boundary. There are very tidy looking 'towers' of pininana backed by the white variety. It looks quite impressive ATM. I must try and get a pic.

Went to Homebase this morning - it had been pouring with rain all morning, but I ended up rescuing a courgette pot and a chive pot because they were bone dry - no-one had thought either to water...

Sarah Raven Cutting Garden
I won't be ordering from Sarah Raven again. Mine took three and a half weeks to arrive ( I was told it would be 10 days, and I thought that was long enough). It took three phone calls too!

Hi, I leave half my cannas in the ground over winter the other half I dig up just incase! But the ones in the ground do come up every year, but they don't show till June cos they are late...
