I drive past Plantworld every day and currently there's a double 'hedge' of Echiums in full flower along Ray Brown's roadside boundary. There are very tidy looking 'towers' of pininana backed by the white variety. It looks quite impressive ATM. I must try and get a pic.

Yes, I placed an order with VM about three years ago, and was most disappointed. The plants were several days in transit, and were more or less dead when they arrived. Those that did survive were not of good quality, and I've not since had any dealings with yhe firm.

The new Easy Tropicals at Blakemere is great, but a big olive tree from there a few months ago, will need to go back in a bit.The nursery at Arley Hall was pretty good when I visited that! :D

There are two wonderful garden centre I visit an awful lot. One is a little tiny family run nursery in a small village not too far away from me called Barborough on the edge of Derbyshire.As with most places you have to hunt for your plants but you can get loads of good plants at a great price...

Hi Annej �£stretcher is one of my favourite shops so cheap , i got a lot of plants there this year that are growing away nicely , i got numerous gardening items pot etc . Its also good for household items as well
