More usually called 'Spent mushroom compost'. Don't forget it can be a bit limey. You usually get a crop of shrooms from it as well. Cheers, Tony.

I have only bought 5 plugs at a time before Harry and they were poor quality it never bothered me much as I grew most of what I wanted at work (for the last 30 years!!). Now I've retired I have to grow and/or buy my own plants!!!!! These were as good as I have received from my past trade...

Otter Nursery in Ottery St Mary(surprisingly) is pretty good.

Have a look at Orbyplant1 on Ebay , just received 24 BIG plugs for £12 , super quality

Had plants mail order from Hill House, big thumbs up from me.

The frosts in Woburn Sands is a good garden centre, quite often some unusual plants. The Wyvale on the other hand... well its a Wyvale.

I know I'm an old cynic but I think this will be very little different from any other variety of flat-leaf parsley on sale, which is mostly around that size. So I wouldn't pay over the odds for it. I always find flat-leaf parsley more flavoursome, though curly-leaf is more decorative. ...

Ah, well my order has finally arrived (unsure if it was the threat of refund that did it??) A little worse for wear, but three plugs have arrived. Only time will tell if they will survive!

Just have to say what a fantastic nursery this is if you are truly interested in plants then you must visit, a relaxed atmosphere with help from staff who know what they are talking about and plant books at hand for me who cant quite explain what i wanted .If you truly love plants then visit...
