Hi there *dim*I would have thought you should get some flowers next summer. If your rose is a rambler, the chances are that it only produces one flush of flowers a year. Few ramblers are repeat flowering, so you've probably missed the boat this year. Hopefully it should be a mass of flowers...

Hi Wolfie KateIt's moth caterpillar damage, I think. It happens to lots of my plants, not just the roses. I don't think there's anything much you can do to prevent it. You can either spray when the problem appears or put up with losing some of your flowers :( I spray things I can't bear...

Spruce, I just badger him enough that he finally gave up. It's probably going to happen again though cause I have somewhere else I want to go next weekend. I have 5 days to listen to it......

How mulch mulch did you use as if you put newspaper down then topped with a mulch ie even grass clippings , how thick was the mulch Spruce

WOW ! One treatment with that spray and its looking about 75% better already, only thing is it says on instructions need to wait every two weeks between using again, so that will take a while, but yea, looking good
