Good oh!

Cracked it. I had Flash disabled as we keep getting unwanted videos playing without us asking and it was using up our Data allowance. Activated it, downloaded the images and turned it off again.

Actually, I'm a Penguin [the bird that doesn't fly] being ex-ground crew in the rif raf.

It's not just autocorrect, there's locations (1 in Milton Keynes) where Google Navigation directions briefly change to a voice with an American accent all by itself.

I think I've found the problem @Fat Controller. Our internet has been in and out this evening, probably due to the weather here. What I hadn't realised was halfway through a large post and start of a new thread I was logged out. Completed now if you want to take a look in Members Gallery.

The email server has been playing silly sods for a wee while now, so the contact us link is not always reliable, and resetting your own password will result in the risk of you being locked out if the verification email doesn't get to you.Any problems like this, or to make changes that might...

I am not entirely surprised @Scrungee, as I haven't yet gotten round to restoring the server caches to try and resolve the problem. Whilst it is not a guaranteed fix, I promise I will get to it as soon as I can

If I was using chrome I'd have even more problems here on GC. I've given up with the other problems I have here via Edge/Bing I'll just add this one to the list.

Oh I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had this missing thread description on the home page. Its a bit annoying. Only an error on my phone, works fine on my macbook. he he @CanadianLori I just wish there was a block function rather than just ignore.

@Webmaster - this one sits deeper than us ordinary Admin can explore; is there a plug-in available to replace Flash in this instance to allow more than one image to be uploaded to the gallery?

Update ... This morning I did an system update and after the fact I could not get on line. T'other Half worked on it and got me back (I can be detached and lost at times ) and I have not had the problem since. Let us hope that continues.
