The random photos? I will take a guess - it is using media queries for the width. Media queries aren't supported by IE8 and earlier. There are workarounds that a site can implement (such as Respond.js - easy to find with Google/Bing).

But not for a long, long time yet

Ok, that didn't work so well. Bad choice of term on my point. I was expecting it to say that logo could refer to, and then list several things for disambiguation, but actual wikipedia doesn't do that so the BBcode is doing what it should, but wiki behaved in a way I didn't expect

TBH i've given up with IE, too old and too many things that aren't compatible with the new forum software, not just on GC but other forums too.Mainly use Google Chrome now.

Somebody/thing seems to have edited that (my) post (not me) and not only changed the big 1 font size but also changed F to f Perhaps an Administrator could check out what's been happening using the 'Edit History' function? (available since last release of Xenforo)

This is what I got when using that method yesterday and it's happened to me before.

I don't click the "Stay logged in" checkbox, and close the browser when I'm done ... perhaps I should logout as there are all sorts of "resume" plug-ins for browsers these days ...

Its to do with the way Ajax loads, if you reply on a page other than latest it appears there, until you fresh page.(so you dont lose your place on the thread , if you reading still)

Just highlighting my issue tonight. Please note: - haven't logged in for a number of days (maybe over a week? ) daily clean is a matter of course. - site "lagging" ... then get script error. - this is a recurrent issue! Doesn't matter how many times you upgrade/update/change...

Yes, I shall certainly remember it for future reference. I mean I had already updated things like Java and drivers so it just was a process of elimination once we knew it was contained to this set up here.
