Hello allI hope you are well.I am still waiting for a Date for the removal of the Tree, but in the meantime.....Once the Tree is removed what would be the best, cheapest and easiest way to add Nutrients back into the Lawn which the Tree has depleted?Thanks in advanceKevin

Could be cherry, but doesn't look like apple. Most of Prunus family can get this gum oozing from cracks in the bark.If it's just the one branch I'd be inclined to prune it back to the main stem.

Pruning any tree or shrub is not enough. The root spread has to be taken into consideration too, as they will cause damage to house foundations and utilities to your own and neighbouring properties.

Yeah, definitely, conifers always go brown if they are too close to anything on one side.

The inner leaves on conifers always die, that's why you cant cut back into brown wood, as it wont regrow very well, if at all.
