Hi chabal,Keep it watered and protected and it should, eventually, come round. If it's still in the same pot that you bought it in you may want to try feeding it. Take care not to overwater it as too much water will force the air out of the soil and drown the tree. Pruning the dead leaves may...

Should be sprouting any time now Kev. I don't know if you will make this one out but it has just started this morning. Then it will grow like the clappers.

Thanks for the advice. To be honest think I knackered them last year cos they went brown and havent recovered. Not sure what to do , cant afford to get anyone in. Great before and after picsMaybe I should take a pic of my after and the before of the rest that needs doing.

Are the dead leaves still attached, if so its usually a sign that the wood is dead. It could still possibly sprout from low down near the root.

Brought a bare root one from morrisons for £1.99 WIll give a try nothing to lose!

Apart from getting bird scarers in I'd definitely try the netting in the tree. You may want to even try popping a fake bird of prey in among the branches too. You never know...

Yep, they were fruit buds. They're just breaking into flower. I'll try hand-pollinating 'cause I haven't seen hide nor hair of any bees:(

I overwinter mine the same way as you Gaz. Actually I use just a ball of hay or straw. And I also use chicken pellets but a friend of mine uses half strength miraclegrow And does OK. I don't think it is long-lived enough though.
