I'm looking for a dead tree...

Our local council are pretty good at creating dead trees, either they plant them and forget about them, or they strip the bark at the base with a strimmer. Still it keeps them in a job.

    Pear Tree Problem

No they are still maintaining their shape, just with these small spots on them. The main worry I had was the branches that were dying.

Its just another thought ;) But maybe if growing elm was in effect banned, outside botanic garden etc. for a number of years, would the beetle and the disease die out? Any thoughts?
