    Brownsea Island (Poole Harbour)

    Collared doves nesting in little Holly tree

    If the nest is quite low, a cat may have frightened them off. Doves like Wood Pigeons haven't got a lot of common sense when it comes to nest building. :scratch:

    Ladybirds Out and About

    We've had loads of ladybirds and, earlier in the year, they congregated in their dozens on the sage we had around the garden - especially the ones that caught the sun in the evening.

    Goldfinches

    Took my 4 goldfinches 2 months to find my feeder. We also have 2 chaffinches and a couple of greenfinches. I love the colours and markings on the goldfinches though. Great pictures everyone.
