    Are you seeing Tree Sparrows?

    We are very lucky and have a proper little flock of tree sparrows. Ours tend to be a little more shy than the house sparrows. They are quite a pretty little bird.

    Its just that, is it OK to plant lawsons cypress, or maybe thuja, or cupressus, or any conifers for that matter. Most have similar problems regarding cutting back if allowed to get out of hand...

    Sparrow terrace built at last

    Another great job Karl, we have an extended family of about 10 Sparrows and there is a healthy population here. Large new builds are also the reason for the Swifts' decline too.:(
