    Butterfly identification please

    That's beautiful!! We had 2 peacocks (the butterflies not the birds :D )in the garden today, the buddleia'a just coming out and the heads are huge again!

    My OH went out on the scoot for a ride today and got stung in the face by a wasp ... not the most pleasant of things esp if you have a phobia like he does, but like you say - they don't do much...
    My OH went out on the scoot for a ride today and got stung in the face by a wasp ... not the most pleasant of things esp if you have a phobia like he does, but like you say - they don't do much harm and you just have to get the vinegar on it where the sting went in.

    Hedgie's back, according to my neighbour there's 2 of them, cool!!AND.......despite being nowhere near a pond, I have a new baby frog!!!!!! He was sitting in the pot of coriander last...

    Thanks, I took a pic of a black redstart on our front path last year in november, it was late afternoon, dark bird, tarmac path! crap pic, at least the woodies show up even through the window.

    yes i will tolerate them i dont mind the frogs anymore i have got a grip on myself.. ;) I didnt like that newt i found i havnt seen him since he has probably run off as i bang on the greenhouse...

    I lost my crista-galli last winter, both of them. As for the caesalpinia, so the secret is to keep them growing through the winter. ;) Didn't notice they were in the wildlife section.

    Like the gecko, looks like the commoner Moorish and not the Turkish which is slimmer. If only we had more reptiles and amphibians in the uk(they would remove a lot more plant nibbling insects)....
