    As there has been interest shown, perhaps you would like to know a little more about this lovely little bridge:
    Its a bridleway and its name is 'Essex Bridge'. It crosses the river Trent here in Staffordshire and was built by the Earl of Essex in 1550 for Elizabeth 1, to enable her to cross the river to gain access to The Shugborough Estate......recently home of the late Lord Lichfield, cousin of the Queen.
