Description | Last year the garden was a lare square p[atch of grass with a bird feeder stick in it. We had 0 birds to report on the Garden Birdwatch thing. We've had it planted up with shrubs/trees now, we asked for stuff to encourage wildlife. We 've got Dogwood, Buddleia, Hazel, Elder, Laurel + flowers pollenators like. We have flocks of birds at the feeders now, zillions of bees/butterflies and, best of all really, fungi in the soul & grass. And it all looks great. Wouldn't win Chelsea, but who bloody cares. |
