Two ID's please

Firstly, no idea what this is but it's looked like this for almost a year (no flower either)



Secondly, this is popping up in all sorts of places
I have seen something like it in the woods nearby.

Blast! Not another foul smelling beastie to match my triffid Mind you, I think it does have a pretty flower ... and ... I think it is wildlife friendly (?)
I'll take out what I can be bothered with and leave a little because it has chosen me (and I don't have anything to put in its place as yet)

As I happen to be a mosquito babe magnet ... this could be the answer to my prayers
Just thank goodness Mr "M" has a poor sense of smell

May make me slightly unpopular in the village though

 

Ha! I just LURVE Marmite *nom-nom-nom* but ... it has never flowered for me Such a 2 dimensional thing, Marmite

 

Don't panic M all is not lost, the answer may be in the form of "Avon skin so soft original", dry oil spray, used by the Army and many others to ward off mosquitos works for me

 

What a coincidence @Jiffy ... I met our local "Avon Lady" yesterday on my walk. Well, I've met her a number of times before, it was just yesterday that she "networked" me

So, let me recap: eat marmite for breakfast, lunch dinner and supper tea; rub myself all over with Herb Robert and then spritz with "Skin So Soft (Original)" ...
