Woos Christmas Cactus

They will be beautiful. I especially like the red leaved one. Morisons have them now for £1.30 - tho mine had lost several buds by the time I got it home.

 

Thank you for posting yours, woo. I recall how magnificent the red one was last year and this year is doing you justice with both too!

I won one at the local garden club meeting raffle last year. The buds dropped as soon as I got it home last year too.

This year ... it began blooming last week. Didn't dare post because, clearly, it's a bit early and I thought I had done something "wrong", yet consoled myself that I must have done something "right" for it to bloom at all!

No pix, but ... I'll post when I have one (mine is a pink one ... hanker after the red, but, beggars can't be choosers and it was a prize after all )

 

Ours is in full bloom now as well so Christmas is late

I have several but only one has buds ... and only two of them.

I still have a few buds waiting to open, but three or four of the first flowers are now losing their energy. I'll pinch those off so the plant can continue to put its energy into the newer buds.
