Long story, not cut short, so get a mug of tea. :coffee::snorky:

It was my sister's birthday on Wednesday so I took a couple of days off work to take her out for a meal, while a Cousin of ours came up from London to join us for the day.
Unfortunately for my Cousin her car, a Peugeot, broke down in Shrewsbury while she was getting fuel. There was a Main Peugeot Dealer/Garage 50 yards away so she went to them and asked if they could help and was told they were too busy. The girl at the reception was a bit embarrassed so she gave my Cousin the name and number of a recommended garage who might be able to help.
When she rang them they asked her where she was and told her they'd be with her asap and within 45 minutes they arrived. They were unable to fix the problem on the spot and so towed her car to their garage several miles away. When they get there they asked where she was intending to get to and when she explained about the Birthday etc they offered to loan her a car, [a brand new Citroen C4], for as long as it took and she accepted. The garage rang up on the Friday to say the car was repaired and ready so I drove up to accompany her to the Garage in case there was a problem of any sort.
My Cousin is now, unhappily, expecting a large bill for [a] the towing of the car, the loan of the Citroen C4, [c] the cost of the new part [a fuel sensor] and labour, in the form of several hundred pounds.
The Mechanic handed her the Bill and she was in shock.........as the Bill was for £98!! So if you take into account VAT was included in the £98 [which would be £19.60p] the actual bill for the towing of the car to the garage, loan of the Citreon C4, new parts and labour, came to £76.40.............now, that's a good garage.:love30::snorky:
