Thank you It is only a very small thing, but if everyone does that very small thing, the world can only be a better place. The recent events have hit the UK hard, with people of all ages, races, religions and sexualities being affected - I only wish I could do something more.
We all need to get our faces out of our smart phones and keep an eye on real time behaviour of everyone around us. Observation is the key- "where there's smoke, there's fire" is somewhat true.
GC official advice for the heatwave.... Don't go out between 11 and 2 Wear a hat and sunblock Drink plenty of water Don't go on the tube If you do go on the tube take a bottle of water and a fan. Stay under a tree in your lunch break Don't get pisssed till after 5pm Stay safe good people
If one more person says it's too hot I'll scream! It's never too hot, only too damned cold (which is about 51 weeks of the year in this country!).
It was so hot yesterday - sitting out on the lawn having a drink - I invented a Garden Beer Shade to keep my beer cold Only a prototype at the moment , but I am sure it has Dragons Den or a crowd funding potential , it's the future !
I am so glad that I have two of DeLonghi's finest about to bolster my cooling 'fleet' - nothing worse than being uncomfortably hot indoors.
Both of my fridges have ice makers and I have A portable unit as well. Oh, and the full collection of Johnny Weismuller Tarzan movies to watch while usung the ice for my libations and sitting about in short pants Bring it on
Or your spelling will suffer. That yeast nutrient is OK, but yeast should be in a fridge. Pectolase also degrades if it gets hot. My yeast starters to use tommorow have been fermenting out about 2.5% ABV per day in this heat The local cherries have ripened in the heat/sun, off foraging this evening!
