              I remember the OPEC fuel crisis in 1973 and have still got some of my petrol rationing coupons.

                  I remember the name 'Doomwatch' but just googled it and it's not what I thought, so no :)

                  Me too, if I recall correctly we were issued with them rationing cards but it never actually got to the point when we needed to use them. I'll hang onto mine in case there is another crisis.

                        I can't compete with you on the celebrity stakes shiney, but I did meet Dick Emery once. When I say 'meet' it was more of a walk past him as he was having a cig on a bench outside the theatre on Bournemouth pier :)
